The newest addition to my portfolio is pencil illustrations. ometimes, the classic elegance of black and white artwork is the perfect way to capture a beloved pet, a cherished loved one, or a special moment in time. My pencil sketches are created using the same high detail methods as my paintings. I shade and craft as much detail as I can, using the lights and darks of the graphite to bring out the tones and shadows of the face.
I personally love working with this medium, as it allows me to create highly detailed, lifelike sketches that celebrate the beauty of simplicity while retaining a fine art quality.
